I captured this image while visiting the Hawaiian Island of Kaui in 2013. I had arrived early for a photo shoot of an entirely different nature, so my colleagues and I decided to take a quick trip into the town of Hanalei to check it out. We stopped briefly, just before getting into Hanalei, at this location to take a few photos. Something about the overall scene, with the clouds and this vast panorama of plants in the foreground, caught my eye and this is what I ended up capturing.
If you're ever traveling from Princetown to Hanalei, pull to the left, down a short dirt road when you see this huge field of plants and THIS is the view you'll be treated too. Enjoy!
