I captured this image while on a trip to the Grand Canyon in 2012.  We decided to take the train in from Williams Junction to Grand Canyon Station.  As far as I was concerned the day was perfect.  It was an overcast day.  The rain that fell was more than drizzle, but less than a full rain.  Enough to wet the ground in Williams Junction and leave a thin layer of powder covering Grand Canyon Village, but only for the day of our arrival.  The following morning as the sun touched the ground, the thin blanket of snow from the day before turned to water and then evaporated, and we were left with a beautifully crisp day!  Perfect!
